Busia, positioned at Uganda’s easternmost edge along the Kenya border, is a bustling frontier town known for trade, mobility, and regional cooperation. As a hub for customs, commerce, and transnational community life, Busia is a practical and strategic destination for events focused on trade development, cross-border health initiatives, logistics planning, and East African policy dialogue.

This town thrives on movement. The Uganda–Kenya One Stop Border Post (OSBP) is one of the region’s busiest crossings, serving as a symbol of East African integration.
