Go BackEncarnación “also known as The Pearl of the South ” is located 365 kilometers south of Asunción, on the bank of Paraná River. It is distinguished for its famous carnival and waterfront boulevard.
Encarnación Sambodrome is the fourth biggest in the world, following the ones in Rio de Janeiro (550 meters), Sao Paulo (530 meters) and Gualeguaychu (500 meters).
The growth of its hotel infrastructure and meeting space has been significant in the last two years, with the inauguration of several first-class hotels and meeting rooms with capacity varying from 20 to 600 delegates.
There are excellent restaurants in Encarnación, as well as an exciting nightlife that can be seen in its waterfront boulevard, pubs and casinos.
Among its main cultural and tourist attractions are the Jesuit Missions of Jesús and Trinidad, which have been declared World Heritage by UNESCO. They are testimonies of the world-famous Jesuit experience in Paraguay.
