Manzanillo is often overlooked in favour of flashier Pacific destinations, but for those seeking a coastal setting that blends port-city authenticity, affordable luxury, and relaxed event pacing, it offers plenty of rewards. Located in the state of Colima, Manzanillo is a major shipping port with a strong maritime identity, yet its twin bays and golden beaches also make it an appealing — and budget-friendly — destination for weddings, family reunions, faith-based retreats, and corporate offsites seeking something less commercial.

Its unique layout, with Santiago Bay and Manzanillo Bay curving along the coast, allows for a wide variety of beachfront venues and ocean-view properties.
